Final Redistricting Scenarios Chosen; Board To Vote On March 9
Posted on 02/22/2017
The Mehlville School District’s Redistricting Committee has completed an extensive examination of current school boundaries and possible boundary adjustments to reduce school overcrowding.
Two final scenarios have been chosen for the elementary schools and two final scenarios have been chosen for the middle/high schools. The Board of Education is scheduled to vote on which scenarios to accept at its March 9th meeting.
Two redistricting informational meetings are being held. On Monday, February 27, about 125 people attended a meeting at Washington Middle School where a presentation was followed by an informal Q&A session as well as written feedback that the committee will review. On Tuesday, February 28, an identical redistricting meeting at Blades Elementary begins at 6pm.
